Nordicvisitor.com is the online booking site and trading name of
Nordic Visitor, and a hub to our local websites (www.norwayvisitor.com /
www.swedenvisitor.com / www.icelandvisitor.com). Nordic Visitor is a
travel agency specialising in incoming tourism to the Nordic countries.
Our company is fully licensed by three governments (Norway, Sweden and
Iceland).
2. Is Nordicvisitor.com a secure site?
Nordicvisitor.com and our subsites provide all the security the
customer needs. All transactions on the website are secured by SSL
encryption, and the website is hosted by ANZA, Nordic region´s leading
company in the information technology sector.

Nordic Visitor has three offices, in Oslo – Norway, Stockholm –
Sweden and Reykjavik – Iceland
4. Who operates the holiday arrangements on this website?
Nordic Visitor works with the most experienced and reliable tour
operators, and travel companies in the Nordic countries, offering a
great selection of tours, car rentals and accommodation at competitive
prices.
5. How do I pay for my bookings at Nordicvisitor.com?
To pay for your bookings at Nordicvisitor.com, you must be a holder
of a valid credit card. If you are not a holder of a valid credit card,
or do not want to send your credit card number via the Internet, you can
send your bookings directly to one of our sales offices, by either fax
or e-mail, and pay by electronic bank transfer or a certified bank
cheque.
6. When is my credit card charged if I book directly at
Nordicvisitor.com?
When your bookings have been confirmed to you by e-mail or fax, your
credit card will be charged.
7. What if I need to cancel my tour?
We regret that we are unable to offer a full refund in the case of
cancellation. The cancellation fee depends upon the length of notice and
type of booking. Please refer to the “Cancellations” section in Terms
and Conditions.
8. How far in advance should I book?
All travel arrangements should be booked at least 48 hours in
advance. For self-drive and custom-made tours, we strongly recommend you
book with a few weeks’ notice.
9. How does the booking process work?
Once you have submitted your booking and personal details through
Nordicvistor.com, a travel consultant will view the booking. The travel
consultant will crosscheck your booking and send you a confirmation
within 48 hours. Your credit card will be charged at that time. If our
travel consultant is unable to obtain confirmation, an alternative will
be offered. If the customer does not accept the alternative, or Nordic
Visitor is not able to offer an alternative, no charge will be made to
your credit card. When the booking has been confirmed and your credit
card has been charged, Nordic Visitor will issue the invoice and
vouchers for your travel arrangements. It is optional whether you want
to have the travel documents posted to your address or pick them up on
arrival.
10. When do I receive the vouchers?
Nordic Visitor posts travel documents to your address 24 hours after
confirmation. The delivery time depends on the method of dispatch. You
can also choose to have your travel documents delivered to your
accommodation on arrival, or pick them up from our office.

12. What are Nordic Visitor’s opening hours?
Nordic Visitor’s opening hours are: 09:00 to 18:00 local time
(Iceland; GMT, Norway and Sweden; GMT+1, summer+2), Monday through
Friday from 1 September to 31 May, and from 09:00 to 20:00 daily from 1
June to 31 August.
