Please note that there are public holidays in local parts of Italy. For example, there is a local public holiday in Milan for the city's patron saint, Sant'Ambrogio. This falls on 7 December. There are other patron-saint-related local public holidays across Italy, so please double check the cities you are travelling to in advance.
