First of all, we just loved our stay on Iceland. Everything was quiet perfect, the receptions on the hotels, the bedrooms, and the places you recommended to see.
About the "Tour Evaluation", we can say that the rate of service provided by Nordic Visitor was excellent, and the documents you send us by the chauffer and the information/meeting received before the tour were good. As I said before the standard of accommodation was excellent as the rental car. The standards of the meals were good. The itinerary was excellent (we loved Heimaey, especially the hotel).
Well, we were a bit surprised (positively) because we didn't have any references at all about your services (we knew about your travel agency by google), and we can say that if we return to a nordic country maybe it will be using the services of Nordic Visitor. The only thing we are disappointed is to never knew the person that make this perfect travel organization... But still thank you for all.

Not sure where to start? We’ve got local experts from Reykjavík to Rome. Get in touch to find out more or get inspired by this guide to adventurous honeymoons in Europe.
Most of our couples spend about 7 to 21 days on their honeymoon in Europe. A week is enough to get a flavour of a country or region, like Norway’s fjords or Scotland’s Highlands.
Two weeks gives you time to linger and explore a country in more depth. Meanwhile, in 2–3 weeks, you could combine destinations, such as pairing Italy and France, or taking an extended grand tour of Scotland and Ireland.
Longer trips also leave room for days built in simply to relax, rather than sightsee.
If you’re not sure how long you’ll need to get the most out of your trip to Europe, just ask one of our local experts.
May to September is best for warm weather and long days. Summer (June to August) brings the midnight sun to Iceland and Scandinavia, along with warm weather across Italy, France and Switzerland. Perfect for al fresco dining and lakeside strolls in national parks.
Spring (April and May) and autumn (September to mid-November) are often quieter than summer, but have milder weather. Meanwhile, the winter months of December to March are ideal for visiting Christmas markets, chasing the northern lights, and seeing Lapland blanketed in snow.

We recommend booking around 3 months to a year in advance. Popular honeymoon spots can fill up early, and booking ahead gives us more time to tailor the details and secure the best rooms.
Each tour has an online availability calendar where you can see what dates are available.
No, flights aren’t included in the package price. Your package covers everything on the ground, from accommodation to transport and local support. This means you’re free to book flights with whichever airline and route suits you best.
Not sure about the best flight times or airports? Our travel consultants are happy to help once your itinerary is set.
It’s best to wait until your tour package is confirmed before purchasing your flights. Once your travel consultant has emailed your booking confirmation, you can go ahead and arrange your flights.
By securing your tour with us first, you’ll then have all the details you need to make an informed decision of which flights to book. Do check in advance to make sure there are suitable flights available.
It comes down to how much company – and control – you want along the way.
If you’re after an exclusive experience, privately guided tours come with a personal driver-guide who takes the wheel and shares real local insight throughout your trip.
Prefer to explore at your own pace? A self-drive tour puts you behind the wheel, free to pull over whenever something catches your eye.
For a self-guided trip without the driving, independent tours in Scandinavia run on trains, cruises and public transport. You can easily tailor your trip, with optional activities like fjord kayaking, sauna experiences, and guided food tours.
And if you’re a sociable couple, small group tours pair you with a professional local guide and a few like-minded travellers. You’ll explore in a comfortable minibus with activities and some evening meals included.
Absolutely, and it’s one of the most popular requests we get. Extra nights in a favourite city, a private transfer, or something bubbly waiting in your room – all of it can be arranged.
Plus, each tour has a wide range of optional activities to choose from. Think pizza-making classes in Italy, cable car rides in Switzerland, whale-watching in Iceland, and loads more.
If you’ve got something specific in mind, just ask your travel consultant.
Depending on where you go and when, there’s a lot of variability when it comes to the weather in Europe. In general, though, it’s best to pack layers since conditions can shift quickly, especially in Northern Europe.
Central and Southern European countries like Switzerland, Italy and France tend to have more stable weather. And you’ll find it gets hot here between June and August.
Whenever you go, you’ll want to pack a comfortable pair of walking shoes, a day pack for your essentials, and luggage that’s easy to manoeuvre. Don’t forget to throw in some swimwear, whether it’s for an Icelandic hot spring, a Norwegian fjord, an Alpine lake, or a French beach.
