Located in the heart of Swedish Lapland, Abisko is a 77 km2 national park renowned for its natural beauty, wildlife and for being a hot spot for outdoor activities year-round.

Located within the national park is the Abisko Sky Station, considered one of the best spots for viewing the elusive, magical northern lights. The Sky Station is accessible by a chair lift, during which visitors can enjoy the peaceful darkness of the park and an unspoilt view of the stars above. In addition to being a northern lights viewing point, the Sky Station also houses a gourmet restaurant where guests can enjoy a multi-course meal under the northern night-filled sky.
