Norway's gateway to outdoor adventures

Known as Norway’s adventure capital, the small town of Voss draws thrill-seekers from across the globe. From rafting and canyoning to paragliding and skiing, the location has long been a hub for outdoor sports.

You can hike through lush valleys, cycle rugged trails, or soar above the mountains on a paraglider. Winter brings skiing, snowboarding and cross-country trails, while the Voss Gondol gondola climbs 1,011 metres (3,317 feet) to the mountaintop, offering incredible views across the valley and fjords beyond.

Due to its small size, the town has more of a village feel and is home to a host of festivals and events. Restaurants offer traditional cuisine and a great local atmosphere.
