Picturesque Swedish setting

Sofiero Palace in Helsingborg was one of the Swedish royal family's country mansions, located 5 kilometres north of Helsingborg. The property was originally a farm estate called Skabelycke, purchased in 1864 by Prince Oscar of Sweden. The first palace was completed in 1865 and it was expanded to its current size in 1876, after Prince Oscar had been crowned King Oscar II of Sweden and Norway.

The main attraction for travellers today are the large gardens with the Rhododendrons especially beautiful.
