Our trip to Iceland, as arranged by Nordic Visitor, was very enjoyable. We worked with our Personal Consultant Daniel who was very knowledgeable and friendly. With his help we developed our activities for our trip. We chose the Best of South Iceland-Winter small group tour. Everything was perfect. The accommodations, tours and transfers were excellent. We highly recommend Nordic Visitor.

Second time traveling via Nordic Visitor (1st was Scotland with driver). Elena did a great job planning our Iceland trip. She made recommendations, handled a last minute cancellation by an excursion operator by recommending, than booking a fantastic alternative, we never felt we were on our own. Nordic Visitor operations even warned us before our arrival of dangerous winds forecast for our area of travel. The self-drive adventure was easily accomplished with the Nordic Visitor provided travel guide, annotated maps and vouchers. We scheduled many excursions and took advantage of sites recommended by Nordic Visitor in the travel guide.

I have only very positive things to say about Nordic Visitor. From the first response to my inquiry to the flight home, they were superb. They listened to our requests, patiently answered our questions, rearranged plans when the weather required, were prompt and trustworthy . . . I have traveled a lot, and this trip was one of the very best. I would return if I could. We worked with more than one Travel Consultant because of vacation schedules, and that at first concerned me, but each Consultant was part of the team and was just as gracious and helpful and responsible as the others. Five stars.

Our personal Travel Consultant, Elin was very friendly and helpful. The personnel from the emergency contact was also very helpful and was able to help us when we had difficulty in finding the tour in Tromso. Transport, accomodation and activities were great. The only thing I hope can be improved was the information on finding the location of the bus, there was no clear location or landmark of where we could find our specific tour bus. There was no sign on the tour bus and there were so many of them that we have to keep asking around. The Norwegian travel needs to put bigger sign on the bus or put a big sign close to the bus where people can find them easily, not just a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 paper on the windshield.

Our tour guide Hinrik was superb. He provided great stories on the history of Iceland and took us to some locations we would have never thought to go to if we were on our own

Our first time travelling with Nordic Visitor and we were really impressed. Elin our travel consultant was very helpful and efficient and a pleasure to deal with. The whole tour was wonderful and very easy to follow using the detailed info provided. The hotels were very nice. Breakfasts were great. We loved the food & history tour in Bergen. Learnt a lot. Our favourite was the boat trip (electric & silent!) through the beautiful fjords. Although the train journey from Oslo to Myrdal was magical in the snow! The service that takes your luggage from Oslo to Bergen for you while you visit the fjords for a night was a godsend. Highly recommend and will be using Nordic Visitor again. They took the hassle out of travel!

Clarence did a wonderful job helping us create a personalized travel itinerary. Our trip was beyond magical! I highly recommend using Nordic Visitor.

The whole thing , start to finish from transfer to hotel , to driving maps , instructions, highlights, and warning of blue lagoon closing due to volcanic activity (and a seamless rebooking at sky lagoon). Minor issues with booking at one hotel- sorted out quickly
