Trusted travel experts

We’ve been planning unforgettable trips across Europe since 2002. As your tour operators in France, we know which Parisian boulangerie bakes the best croissant, and which Provence markets are worth the detour. Your travel consultant brings the kind of insight that only comes from genuinely knowing a place.

Great reviews

Year after year, Tripadvisor awards us its Certificate of Excellence. We have thousands of 5-star reviews. Even better, 97% of our travellers would recommend us to people they care about. That's what matters most.

24/7 support

If something goes sideways, we’re already on it. Our team is just a call away – day or night, big or small. You won’t face it alone.

Full financial protection

We follow European Union Package Travel regulations, which means your money’s safe, no matter what. If the unlikely happens and we face insolvency, you get a full refund. It's not an add-on. Just standard protection you can count on.

Flexible itineraries

Every itinerary starts as an expertly built route through the best of France. From there, it’s yours to shape. Fancy an extra day in Nice? A Cabaret show in Paris? Just say so. We’ll take care of it.

Handpicked hotels

Sink into comfort in places we know and trust, because we’ve been there ourselves. Quality you can count on. Locations that work. And yes, breakfast worth getting up for. We only pick places we'd genuinely recommend.

We loved our tour with Nordic Visitor. The customer service with Maria, who was always ready for our needs, the hotel selection and the car booking process went perfect. We also loved receiving a printed kit for the roadtrip, great detail!

Your questions about France tours, answered

We know you’ve got questions before booking your France getaway. To help you get ready for your trip, we’ve pulled together answers to the questions we hear most often.

One thing worth knowing right away: your payments are fully protected when you book with us. That’s our Book With Confidence promise. Our booking terms and FAQs have more details if you want to dig a little deeper.

Visit between April and October for warm days, long evenings, and France at its best. Expect sunshine, outdoor dining that stretches late into the night, and that feeling of being somewhere you don’t want to leave.

Summer (June to August) is peak season, and for good reason. Lavender blooms across Provence, the Riviera’s beaches come alive, and evenings call for a glass of rosé on a sun-warmed terrace. These months fill up fast, so book early if summer’s the plan.

Spring and autumn (April, May, September and October) suit travellers after fewer crowds and gentler temperatures, ideal for wandering hill villages or Parisian streets without breaking a sweat. Autumn also brings the grape harvest across Provence’s vineyards.

Find out more in this guide to the best time to visit France.

We’ll take you well beyond the Eiffel Tower. As a tour agency in France, we cover Paris, Provence, the French Riviera, and more.

Stroll Paris’ Champs-Élysées and lose yourself in the Louvre, then head south to Provence for Roman ruins, lavender fields and honey-hued hilltop villages. Along the coast, the French Riviera brings glamorous Nice, Cannes and Monaco, all with the Mediterranean as your backdrop.

Fancy pairing France with a neighbour? Our France and Italy tours combine both countries into one seamless trip.

Looking beyond the obvious? Read this round-up of the best places to visit in France, beyond Paris.

The best way to see France depends on how you like to travel.

Our self-drive tours give you complete freedom. Stop at that storybook village in the Luberon. Linger over lunch on the Riviera. Take the scenic route just because. We’ll arrange your rental car and book your hotels, so you just drive and enjoy.

Some of our tours include train travel, too. Like the high-speed route from Paris to Avignon, so you can mix rail with road on the same trip.

The short answer? Everything you need for a smooth trip.

No matter the itinerary you pick, you'll always get:

• Quality accommodation, handpicked by our team
• Breakfast each morning
• Transport that’s part of your itinerary – whether that’s a rental car, train, or transfers
• A detailed, personalised itinerary
• Our exclusive France Travel Guide, with top attractions, hidden gems and practical tips
• 24/7 support whenever you need it
• All taxes and fees (no hidden costs)

Self-drive tours also come with:

• A reliable rental car from trusted local partners
• Unlimited mileage
• CDW insurance
• Authorisation for 2 drivers

Want to add something special? Extra nights in Paris, a food tour in Avignon, a private transfer to the airport. Just say the word. It’s your trip.

You’ll stay in handpicked hotels we’ve stayed in ourselves, chosen for comfort, location, and a good night’s sleep. All tours include Comfort Plus as standard – comfortable rooms in well-located hotels. Want a little more? Treat yourself and upgrade to Superior.

Good breakfasts, staff who know the area well, and always close to everything on your itinerary.

For self-drive tours, you can choose any date that suits your schedule. Your trip, your timing.

If you have a specific season in mind, it’s worth booking early to get your first choice. Check the online calendar for the tour you’re interested in to see available dates.

And if your plans change, our Cancellation Protection has you covered.

We don’t include flights in our tour packages. This gives you the freedom to choose your own airline, departure city and flight times.

We recommend booking your tour first, then waiting for our confirmation before purchasing your flights.

Summer is sunny and warm. In Paris, expect highs around 20–25°C (68–77°F). Head south and the temperature climbs. Provence and the Riviera regularly hit 25–30°C (77–86°F), with inland areas sometimes pushing higher. Pack light layers, drink plenty of water, and save the long walks for the evening.

Spring and autumn bring milder weather – perfect for long days of sightseeing. Paris sits around 12–18°C (54–64°F), while the south stays warmer at 15–25°C (59–77°F). Evenings cool off, so bring some warm layers.

Your France packing list depends on when you’re travelling and how you plan to spend your days. But here are a few things that earn their place in your suitcase.

Comfortable walking shoes are non-negotiable – cobblestones, old-town lanes, and vineyard paths will punish anything flimsy. If you’re visiting churches or cathedrals, bring a scarf or light wrap to cover your shoulders.

Swimwear is a must for the Riviera. And a little cash in euros goes a long way at markets, small cafés, and the occasional toll booth.

Your France packing essentials:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Light, breathable clothing for warm days
• A warm jumper or jacket for cooler evenings
• Swimwear
• Sunglasses, sun hat and suncream
• Power adaptor (France uses the standard European two-pin plug)
• Small day bag for daily essentials
• Reusable water bottle
