Norway's second largest city in the Arctic

Bodø, Northern Norway’s second largest city, is located just north of the Arctic Circle. It’s considered a paradise for hikers and cyclists, with an abundance of walking and biking trails, nature reserves and mountains within close reach of the city.

A popular starting point for kayaking, boating, fishing or bird watching tours, there’s plenty to see among the area’s numerous islands and islets.
