1. How does your Cancellation Protection work?

Pay a 20% deposit or more on most Nordic Visitor tours and you’ll receive our Cancellation Protection free of charge.

If your plans change, you have two options:

1. Rebook your tour on one occasion, with no change fees. You can choose new dates any time within 36 months from the cancellation date.
2. Or cancel for any reason and receive a partial refund and travel credit:
- • With more than 72 hours’ notice before your arrival, your deposit is held as travel credit and the rest is refunded.
- • With less than 72 hours’ notice, 50% is be held as travel credit and 50% is refunded.

2. What if I need to cancel?

If you have Cancellation Protection, your payments are covered. Just get in touch and we’ll take care of the rebooking or cancellation for you.

If you don’t have Cancellation Protection, our standard booking terms apply. We’d recommend checking with your personal travel insurance provider.

3. How do you decide if it’s safe to visit a destination?

We follow the guidance of national governments and official international advisories. If a destination isn’t safe for leisure travel, we won’t run tours there.

4. What health and safety standards do you hold your tours to?

We take our duty of care seriously. All our suppliers – from hotels to transport providers – are vetted to meet our standards, and we monitor conditions across our destinations closely.

If anything changes before or during your trip, our team will let you know and handle any necessary adjustments.

5. What happens if I need help during my tour?

We’re there for you. Day or night, you can reach us via our 24/7 support line. Whether you need medical advice, a change to your itinerary, or just a reassuring voice on the other end.

Our regional teams are trained to handle the unexpected and will do everything they can to make sure you’re looked after.

6. Should I take out personal travel insurance for my trip?

Yes – we always recommend it. Personal travel insurance covers costs things like flight delays or cancellations, lost luggage and healthcare, which our Cancellation Protection doesn’t.

Our Cancellation Protection looks after your tour payments if you need to cancel or postpone before you travel. The two work well together.

If you are travelling from an EEA country, don’t forget your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) too.

7. Can I book a tour for 2027 or beyond?

Yes, we’re already taking bookings for 2027 bookings on selected destinations. Hit ‘Find Your Price’ and use the calendar to see what’s available.
